The Hotel Accommodation – where traditional ambiance meets modern comfort
The tranquillity and beauty of the village of Penshurst is best experienced when you stay in one of the hotel’s seven rooms, some of which overlook the garden to the attractive rolling hills of the countryside beyond.
Each of the rooms has been individually designed and offers the comforts you would expect of traditional country inn hotel. There are four-poster beds, half testers, double and single rooms and nothing has been spared to ensure a pleasant stay for our guests.
The comfort of our guests is important to us and when designing our bedrooms, as well as attractive en-suite bathrooms, we were sure to include tea and coffee making facilities, TV’s and radios with alarms – and of course, that modern day requirement of all good hotels, free, fast Wi-Fi broadband connection.
Over the years we have been fortunate to play host to many young couples and their families on the eve and day of their wedding the 900 year old church is just across the road. The faclities at the Leicester Arms are ideal for weddings and celebratory events of any type, we can cater for up to 120 guests for the wedding breakfast and after the speechs blessing the newly marrieds the party celebrations get into full swing.
The Kings Bar is ideal as there is a full private bar facility and as a function room it is often used for private dinners, parties as well as wedding receptions.
The team at The Leicester Arms under the stewardship of Fiona Currie is friendly and only too willing to make sure your stay or special occasion is one you enjoy and will always remember fondly.
